The Timeless Genius of The Smiths Courtesy of Radiohead
I am not much of a Radiohead fan but they have interesting, eclectic taste in cover songs. Plus Prince covered them so extra cool points accorded for that. Here they demonstrate said cover taste and, as I mentioned in the headline, they illustrate how enduring is The Smiths' greatness. (PS - this is not new but it is new to me so it might be to you - enjoy)

And bonus from that same session - "Ceremony" (which I personally don't think is as good and shows that Joy Division & New Order are tough to cover - not that either band incarnation is not great but rather that their songs are so much their own that they don't stand alone as well.)
